so your hoping to continuously rotate images in the header of your k2?
Would this not be better with flash? or is not using flash part of your goal?

Well, I don't have any experience with it but I managed to get it to work reasonably well. I couldn't actually get it in the header as it would keep going on top of the menu links so I just put it on top of the header and then lowered the height of the header to just show the title and menu links.
[Notes]
IE doesn't handle it very well.(suprise, suprise)
You'll need to have livesearch enabled because it uses prototype.js
Setup
Download k2.zip (http://jjwester.resnet.mtu.edu/blog/wp-content/k2.zip)
Extract the archive and open slideshow.js
Edit the photoarray and photodir to point to your images
Upload the files to your site.
Select sample.css for your style, or alternatively add the css in sample.css to an already existing stylesheet.

If the addition of pictures was easier this could make a very nice photo gallery....

And if someone could find (for a photo gallery) a way to include thumbnails...

You can put an absolute address in, that's what I was using when testing it. So something like http://getk2.com/forum/themes/images/ should work.
