I've created a web gallery of original header images for K2 weblogs. Please come and check us out... then join up and upload headers of your own!

Use this thread to suggest themes for header packages... we'll take requests! :)

I got my most recent image I used in my header from sxc.hu, a fantastic stock photo site. Everything is free, you get high res images.. all you need to do is sign up for a free account.

Who doesn't love stock.xchng? That's where I got my header images, too, because I can't take photos worth shit (besides my camera got stolen in Dec.) Reminds me to go give credit in the Colophon.... Thanks for the reminder :rolleyes:

That's where I get all the raw images to use for the headers I'm making and putting into the gallery. When you do an advanced search, you can restrict results to only images with no usage restrictions.

Pregnancy Headers, What the hell?

My first blog (back before the word existed) was all about my wife's pregnancy and the delivery of our third child.

I used NewsPro, a flat-file news script that ran in Perl. I just googled and found that NP seems to still be around and kicking (http://factory.dusj.no/newspro/).

I am probably embarassing myself, but I don't know much about WOW. Can you point me at some available, not copyrighted images that we could use for headers? (I'm guessing that screenshots would be OK and fall under fair use.)

One thing that the header gallery could use is simple instructions on how the images can actually be used as headers. Pretty nice gallery!

I wouldn't mind seeing a couple (or all) of the following headers...

1. Gaming Header (Xbox 360, PS3, PSP, NES)
2. Fishing Header (Bass, Striper, Kayak Fishing)
3. Macintosh Header (MacBook, OSX)

cristells seems to want a kubrick header, with rounded corners and all

another method i'll like to try is tagging your las vegas picture with a unique term and use http://www.redalt.com/Tools/kubrickr.php

I guess it just seems funny that you have 5 pregnacy headers.. i dunno it just seems strange. Greate idear though! well done. I am trying to start a free graphics request forum at forum.bumsk.com i am not the best designer but if any one is interested you can help me get the ball rolling... maby for header images we can tie it in with you site. PM me if you like the idear.
