Style Forms (LiveSearch, Comments, Contact Forms, etc...)

I'm wondering if anyone can tell how to style the forms throughout ones blog. Specifically, I'd like to achieve something like on binarybonsai.com--where the search form is just a white box without the default indentation-like borders.

After looking at my site for a while earlier, I managed to change the comment field. That worked out since I already had it defined when I was messing with trying to get a background image on it.

Now I realize that I'd like to know how to specifically change the author, email, and url part of the comments, too. And then the LiveSearch form separately since I want to style it different. And then of course, get to my contact form, but I suppose that'd be easier if someone could point out how to do these first things!
