How to display the alert message

Sorry , i really know this is an old one, but how can i display the alert message when i write a post?

you need to make an alert (or whatever you want) div class and also upload to appropriate image file (google famfamfam silk). if you're not sure how to make the class just rip it from someone else's stylesheet.

You can customize the Alert outlook by editing .alert class in style.css.

also, does someone have a editet functions.php with all the alertclasses and the CSS that goes along with it?

Remove those slashes from class="alert" .. It seems vBulletin inserted them :|

but only alert works, not the other ones i inserted ( and yes i have the CSS )
