Sca4ered Theme

I have someone working on it with me now so we should see more updates. And yes. I'll definitely add some RollingArchives support in the next release. But this time it will be in the sidebar. IT looks pretty cool in the sidebar but you could always move it somewhere else if you like sidebar asides instead.

What do you guys think?

I'll most likely release my current theme as well but I need to figure out a couple things first.

Hello Dan,

Like myself; many others use the "Alert Message Option in K2" http://rayz.notdesign.net/archives/2005/10/01/alert-message-option-in-k2/ within the 'Sca4ered' theme.

As you will be aware, it needs to be hard-coded wintin the theme by the user and every time your theme has a new update we need to go back and hard-code the wholse alert-function. Is there anyway you can hard-code the Alert function in your future releases so that it saves a lot of hassel when upgrading.

Wow, I didn't know my alert message hack for K2 still lives strong among the community =). Perhaps we should get this incorporated into the K2 core instead.

Edit: Hahaha...I've been through the forums from the flickr to vanilla to vBulletin days and I'm listed down as a Jnr Member! Oh well, am swamped with work and no chance for any other K2/wordpress development to contribute to the vBulletin forum.

Hi,

Im having some troubles with this theme, on the footer panel I am seeing a message "Fatal error: Call to undefined function: utw_showweightedtagset() in /home/rumple/public_html/wp/wp-content/themes/Sca4ered.2/footerpanel.php on line 7" Im thinking that has to do with a plugin maybe?

Also the footer will not open up, i.e. I click the "Activity ⇑ Tags ⇑ Elsewhere ⇑" link and nothing happens, I checked and the prototype.js file seems to be where it belong. (Possibly related - I have tried using prototype before with a demo of a 'shelf' before and it didnt work also. (other sites using prototype work fine.))

Ive worked most of this out, I hadnt installed UTW properly :), but still having problems with the shelf :( Any ideas?
