Including:
<ul>
<li>The pop-up footer panel, using moo.fx.</li>
<li>Rolling archives in the sidebar.</li>

Dan, where do you put the call to Rolling Archives in this theme? I can't get the archives to appear with my own K2 style, but with this style it works, even though I haven't installed your version of the plugin. This leads me to believe it's the code you're using in the actual theme to call it. I can't see it in navigation.php, so I assume you have it somewhere else?

Oh, by the way, it looks like you hardcoded the "Blog" link on the menu bar to link back to dancameron.org :)

-In the presentation options, the theme is called K2 Beta Two.
-My pop-up bar and tags aren't green.

I don't use it, in favor (hopefully) of my own design. That said, it is a wonderfully done, dark theme. That bottom pop-up panel just adds icing to an already delicious cake.

In short, well done.

New Version just uploaded, called "Futurama".
Changelog:
I fixed the stupid hard code of my page in the header.
Changed the style sheet to represent the theme better.

My pop-up bar and tags aren't green.
You will need to change those settings within your tags options in your admin panel.

Hey I get an error.
I got two, one was asking for my Flickrrss plugin which I didn't have so installed it and have that working (although its no use to me.)

the other one is.
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: utw_showweightedtagset() in /home/****/public_html/wp-content/themes/Sca4ered.2/footerpanel.php on line 7

You will need to change those settings within your tags options in your admin panel.
What were your values of green?

EDIT: Nevermind, they're #41cf40 and #103410, if anyone else wants to know.

Thanks, Dan. I actually realised later last night that it would obviously be in the sidebar, and checked that against mine in navigation.php. It's exactly the same. Do you have anything else changed within the theme itself, to work with Rolling Archives? I'm determined to find out what is causing mine not to work.

Also, your theme is looking great.

Dan, your theme is great! BUT it really looks like shit in IE. It's not that I like using IE as browser, but let's not deny it excists. Some people are still forced (like me at work) to use or just simply willing to use IE as browser. Are you going to fix these problems in the near future? Or should IE users just be waiting for IE7 to be released?

It doesn't look too bad in IE7 and that's pretty much what I work with now since it will be released soon and it is so hard to work with IE6 that the site wouldn't look good on any browser.

You could always use another style sheet for IE, that's what I have planned for my main site.

I would also recommend downloading the IE7 beta if you can't use firefox at work.

Looks like I didn't use function_exists on that call. I will fix it and get out a new release soon. In the meantime can install Ultimate Tag Warrior, it's probably my favorite plugin for wordpress.

I took your advice about installing Ultimate Tag Warrior to fix the issue with tags. But when I try to add tags to a post it does not seems to save them. When I got to Options > Tags and try to force a re-install I get "An invalid tag ID was passed in." Any help would be appreciated!

I looked through the theme and couldn't find where this error would occur. Could you turn the plugin off and send me exactly what it says. As for the other issues with UTW, you will need to contact Christine, I'm not sure.

I just updated the theme to get rid of the "sidebar" issue, I forgot the conditional statement for the flick plugin.

This is the best theme I've seen ;) - and i'm not blind...

Wow great. Cool features. But I would be more pleased if they were all into k2 and this would only be a stylesheet not a own theme. In the way it is, the author must always put in the actual k2 version, musn't he?

now, do you know what could be causing the sidebar to appear at the bottom of the page?.... and on the floating archives, how can i enable the "activity" and the "elsewhere"?.

Activity is used with brians Latest comments. Elswhere is used with delicious cache. Sca4ered.2 supports all teh same plugins that K2 does (http://binarybonsai.com/wordpress/k2/features-and-plugins/).

I'm sorry, I'm sure this must have been elsewhere in here, but I'm wondering why the layout doesn't look right at all. Firstly, it's not black. Anyway, if you could take a look and tell me what I did wrong, I'd really appreciate it. I activated the settings for the .css and all and the plugin, so I don't know what it is.

You forgot to change the scheme to sca4red.., go to your presentation page, then to K2x Options and select under scheme sca4red.css

I've done that already.

EDIT: I uninstalled and reinstalled, reset the options to no scheme, and then back to the right one, and it's working now.

but my footer shows utw_showweightedtagset() error.
and utw_showrelatedpostsforcurrentpost() as well.
what actually its mean? :D

I have been trying to add the include for the Now Reading Plugin (http://robm.me.uk/projects/plugins/wordpress/now-reading/) and it appears to look fine on the mainpage. But when you move the mouse tward the bottom of the page the box for rolling archives pushes it down below the bottom of the page.

Also, when you go to a single entry page the comment form overlaps the putput of Now Reading.

Any suggestions?

I installed the UTW for the bottom error but cannot figure this one out.

Hi! I installed this theme on my blog Zest Games (Wild Arms)- what a fantastic theme! It wasn't the easiest theme to configure but it's really gorgeous.

I've got a couple of questions, though. Is there a way to make the Technorati tags appear on each post and how do I modify the tabs I have on the top? I want to add an About tab and I'm not sure which file to modify and how. I'm new to K2- it all looks quite daunting!

And... another problem, Dan. On "Elsewhere" the del.icio.us is spouting these out:

OK, nvm... I'd solved the Delicious problem. Turns out I don't have Curl so I just used the Linkroll Code (http://del.icio.us/help/linkrolls) provided by Delcious. For anyone who also encountered this problem just copy and paste the code in footerpanel.php - replace the code:

< ? php delicious($k2deliciousname); ?>

But I still have problem with the Early Entries. I can't figure out what's wrong.

luxferi- thanks for the advice. My first post is my About page though, I'd like to be able to put that up as a tab on the top. For the Early Entries, did you install the Michael's Rolling Archives (http://zeo.unic.net.my/2006/02/14/michaels-rolling-archives/) plugin? All I had to do was upload that plugin to my site and activate it in Wordpress- after that it worked fine.

I've got another question- how did you get your site formatting to look halfway-decent in Internet Explorer? Mine looks rubbish- the whole page jumps to the right and the sidebar moves all the way to the bottom. I notice that doesn't happen on some other blogs using the same theme. Maybe I should just setup my blog so that Internet Explorer users see a different theme? Except I have no idea how to do that. *grumbles* Why is Internet Explorer so insistent on working on a totally different set of rules from everything else out there?

On your Wordpress Control Panel -> Write -> Write Page

That's it. Hopefully I didn't misinterpret your words. :)

I did install Michael's Rolling Archives. I'd also put them in their rightful places within the directories as instructed. I also activated the plugin... still not showing. you can see how it is here: www.translucent.ws (http://www.translucent.ws)

*LOL* Yeah it looks like crap in IE so if you say that other blogs look ok... I'm gonna see if I can make it right too. Not sure how... but I'm sure google is useful. :) Even fusion94.org (http://fusion94.org) looks crap in IE.

I love this theme, and can't wait to experiment.

However,

after installing the following plugins:

RollingArchivesx
Dunstan'sTimeSince
flickrrss
delicios cached

Now, the sidebar strangely comes after all the posts and the flickr list.

I've tried everything but stumped. Do help.

Nevermind the above, it's fixed now :)

Still another issue though. The rolling archives list all tags on the post. But this is done without any formatting and continues on the same line with the post. (See sidebar) Any solutions?

Also, in the drop down footer, there are some tags that are currently in black font color (on black background) and visible only in hover. How do i change that?

Hi Dan,
I just downloaded your theme, and it's great! Two problems, though. Firstly, my footer just refuses to come up. http://www.colinbrady.com/blog is the address, and my second problem is that no matter where I look in your code, I just can't find where you put the CSS for the background image. I'd like it to stretch across the entire page (100%) and make it sort of a photo montage. Please let me know what's wrong with my footer and where I can find your background-image code.

as too many others have said, tnx 4 your theme, it's great.
Probably now I'm posting a well know problem, refered to the side bar. it don't come up.
I have installed:

UTW (last version is 3.1?)
BLC
RollingArchivesx
delicios cached

after that I have configured tag, color and so on, but the sidebar stays quite on the ground.
How may I solve it?

I have tried several lightbox plugins for your theme. Of the lightbox plugins that work, somewhow they disable the footerpanel. I think it is because both plugins use a file called effects.js and maybe they are conflicting somehow. What do you think? Is there a fix?
